Over the years, my workstation has evolved over and over and over again...with a few complete new systems every so often.
My latest incarnation is my best yet. I've designed it for both good power (done mid-2005) with lots of headroom for upgradability.
Mainly, this machine enables me to really perform a lot of different functions. Web design is accomplished through Macromedia's Fireworks and Dreamweaver software programs. Another piece of software (VMWare) enables me to run a virtual computer while I continue to work. This is a very effective method to install software that may generally alter how a machine behaves, while never disabling my own workstation.
